π Overview
You may need to update or amend property details at either:
The BLPU (Basic Land and Property Unit) level
The LPI (Land and Property Identifier) level
π Editing Property (BLPU) Details
π Step 1: Locate the Property
Go to the Properties tab.
Select the property record you wish to edit.

The details will appear in the RHW (Right Hand Window).
π Step 2: Edit Property Details
When editing, more details are visible than during initial BLPU creation.
Some values are carried from the related LPI, while others can now be entered for the first time.
You can update:
BLPU Classifications
RPC (Representative Point Code)
BLPU State
π‘ Use the dropdown menus or type in new values (if allowed).
π X/Y Co-ordinates
Define the spatial location of the representative point for the BLPU.
ποΈ Provenance Type & Polygons
Identify the origin or nature of the property.
π Application Cross-Reference
Links the property to other information systems.

πΎ Step 3: Save or Cancel
β Save β updates the property record in the RHW.
β Cancel β abandons any changes.
π·οΈ Editing LPI Details
π Step 1: Locate the LPI
Go to the LPIs tab.

Select the LPI you wish to edit.

OR click Add to create a new LPI for the BLPU.

π Step 2: Edit LPI Fields
The selected LPIβs details will appear in the RHW.
Make any necessary edits (or complete new details if adding an LPI).
πΎ Step 3: Save or Cancel
β Save β updates the LPI record.
β Cancel β discards changes.
π Thatβs the Editing a Property workflow:
BLPU edits focus on classification, provenance, coordinates, and cross-references.
LPI edits allow address details to be refined or additional LPIs added.
