🧐 What Are Configuration Files?
When GGP starts, it loads its application settings from the following files:
GGP.INI– local machine-specific settingsPersonal.INIorDepartment.INI– user or department-level preferences
🎯 This setup allows customised settings for each user in a shared network installation.
📝 Editing Configuration Files
Most settings are managed through the application, but some may require manual editing.
⚠️ Important Notes:
Use a plain text editor like Notepad
Ensure GGP is closed before saving changes
GGP overwrites the INI files on exit, which may undo your edits if it's still running.
🔍 Access via User Control
You can also open and view INI and log files from within User Control.
(See: Audit Logs Article for more on log file access.)
