User Control – Pack/Reindex User Table

📖 Overview

Selecting Tools → Pack/ReIndex will perform maintenance on the User Table by:

• Removing users marked as deleted.

• Re-indexing user records to fix duplicate or missing user numbers.

🛠 Why Use This?

Use this option if you experience:

• Users disappearing unexpectedly.

• Login issues or strange errors related to user accounts.

After re-indexing:

• User numbers will be continuous with no gaps.

• Duplicate users will be identified and can be removed.

⚙️ Process Details

1. When you select Pack/ReIndex, a backup of the User Table is automatically created first.

2. A message will display:

   “UserTable backed up to [full folder path] - Press OK button to pack and re-index table”

3. Click OK to proceed with packing and re-indexing.

4. If any issue occurs, the User Table will be restored automatically from the backup.
