User Control – Setup Department Web Publishing Settings

🌍 What Is This For?

This screen allows Corporate Administrators to configure Web Publishing settings for departmental overlays that will be published to eGGP.

📋 Left Pane – Department Selection

• ✔️ Check a department to enable web publishing for it.

• 📂 Departments already published will appear checked.

• 🔍 Select a department to edit its publishing settings.

⚙️ Right Pane – Publishing Settings

Ensure the department is both highlighted and checked before editing.

• 🌐 Web Root

  • Defines the root name under which all departments will be available in eGGP.

  • If you're using a single instance of eGGP, you'll likely only need one web root.

  • 📝 Type a new name or select from the drop-down list.

• 🖋️ Display Name

  • Optional user-friendly department name that will appear in the eGGP interface.

• 👤 User Name

  • A valid GGP login within the department used by eGGP to access departmental overlays.

💾 Where Are These Settings Stored?

All configuration values are saved under the [Web Publishing] section of the department’s:

DEPARTMENT.INI
