Create a circle on the map as a polygon geometry using the current foreground overlay polygon attributes.
⚠️ Before You Start
Ensure the overlay you want to edit is selected as the Foreground Overlay.
(See Selecting Foreground & Background Overlays for details.)
➕ How to Add a Circle
🖱️ Enter Add Circle Mode
Click Add > Circle from the menu
Or click the Circle speed button on the toolbar.
✏️ Begin Drawing
Menu options will grey out and the Abort and Confirm toolbar buttons will activate, indicating you’re in add mode.
Move your cursor to the desired centre of the circle, left-click to start, drag to size, then left-click again to finish.
⚙️ Specify Exact Radius (Optional)
After the initial left click to start the circle, right-click to open the popup menu.
Select Enter Radius, then input the desired radius (maximum allowed is 1000 km). The circle will be drawn accordingly.
💾 Save or ❌ Cancel
If satisfied with the circle, click Save.
The attribute data entry form will appear.
If not satisfied, click Clear to discard without saving.
Note: You can also adjust the circle’s position and size later using Edit Graphics.
