Opening Existing Script Files in GGP
Overview
If you’ve previously created and saved a script file in GGP, using File | Open Script allows you to quickly restore that session to its last saved state.
How to Open a Script File
Go to File | Open Script.
-
Use standard Windows navigation methods to browse and select your script file.
The interface will reflect your system’s folder view and preferences.
A GGP Places Bar on the right-hand side will assist with quick folder navigation.
Use the GGP Folders buttons to select the relevant level.
-
Click the desired script file name.
If a Script Description was used, it will appear to assist in selection.
Note:
Script files use the.GSCextension.
Older.SCRfiles can still be opened, but if modified, they must be saved with a.GSCextension.
See Script Files for more details.
Working with Multiple Script Files
You can open up to three script files simultaneously.
Each open session appears as a tab at the bottom of the screen.
See Change Session for switching between tabs.
Tips for Faster Access
Tip 1:
Quickly open one of the last nine saved scripts directly from the bottom of the File menu.
Tip 2:
By default, the Open Script dialog opens in your Home directory.
To change this behavior:
Set the Start In property of your GGP or GMAIN32 desktop shortcut to your preferred directory.
