Overview
When GGP starts, it reads configuration settings from several .INI files:
GGP.INI– Local machine-specific settingsPERSONAL.INI– User-specific preferencesDEPARTMENT.INI– Department-wide defaults
These files allow networked users to operate with customised settings while still adhering to departmental configurations.
⚠️ Important:
Always close GGP before manually editing any configuration file. If GGP is running when changes are made, your edits may be overwritten upon exit.
File Access
You can edit the .INI files using any text editor (e.g., Notepad). To quickly access .INI or log files:
Open User Control
Go to the User menu
Choose the relevant file from the list (e.g.,
GGP.INI,PERSONAL.INI,DEPARTMENT.INI)
Configuration File Types
